Against All Odds...
You do not have some divine endowment to win the Powerball lottery... Nor do I. Positive thinking is honorable, but let's face it, we all know that we don't have a snowball's chance of winning the Powerball Lottery based on luck. Yet we continue to depend on luck, throwing dollars at it which eventually add up to some serious cash. Why is that? For most of us, it's a impetuous grab at something that would be absolutely impossible to obtain otherwise. It's not likely that we will discover an oil reserve in our back yard or stumble across a life saving drug in the normal course of our workday lives.
